The E-SSPCA (E-SAPI Side Plate Carrier Adapter) . It will address some issues with the HSGI 'Satch series as well as make available the means of carrying side plates adaptable to plate carriers . Here is a list of some of the functions it will provide . 1) Add the ability to support 8" x 9" side armor plates with the additional soft armor inserts . 2) Add additional MOLLE/PALS webbing to the original platform on sides . 3) Address the issue of flexiability for the user as the cumberbund has adjustable shock-cord expansion to allow the user to breathe during vigorous activities . 4) Address the looseness of the Satch series as mags are extracted . Being an adjustable cumberbund , the shock-cord will allow the rig to tighten up as mags are extracted ( if adjusted correctly). 5) Add more MOLLE/PALS webbing to the rear panel . 6) Works well with some other gearmakers plate carriers . (Some carrier design may offest the adapter off by only 1.5") Contact HSGI for details . 7) Better access to secure the rig as the side release buckles are up near front . 8) Adjustable for when using flak or just as a plate carrier .
