Phalanx Chest Rig TYPE 1

The Phalanx Family of Chest Rigs was born out of a need to provide Operators with multiple options using the exact same sized platform. This chest rig is a great solution for anyone where weight is a critical factor. Made using 500 wt. nylon. Its the lightest most durable fabric currently being used for tactical gear that can still offer you strength and abrasion resistance that will last for years. The (4) center mounted pouches can hold any style M4 magazine including SCAR light magazines, M14 magazines, SR 25 magazines, and SCAR heavy magazines. The bungee retention straps can be adjusted to fit your particular magazine. At each end of the chest rigs there are multiple radio and utility pouch configurations to fit your specific requirements. The radio pouches that fit the MBITR 148 and the 152, and for LE applications the type (4) has an MX5000 radio pouch. You can either run either a dual comms set up or remove the radio strap and use it as a holster if desired (thumb break is included). Small utility pouches are large enough to carry 100 rnd box of 7.62 ammunition, as well as a BA5590 battery, small pre-pack blow out kits, flash bangs, etc.... There are slots inside the Phalanx for tying in gear and stowing chemlights. Shoulder straps are padded and have multiple routing channels for comm cables and antennas. The bottom of each MBITR radio pouch opens up so you can remove the battery and change it without taking your radio out of the pouch. Made in USA, lifetime warranty.
